Feri Nugroho is an Indonesian lecturer and researcher whose work focuses on Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, and Information Technology. He develops data-driven approaches by integrating GIS, satellite imagery, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology to support spatial analytics and location intelligence in spatial analysis, environmental monitoring, and the modelling of regional phenomena.
His research interests include the integration of artificial intelligence (GeoAI) into spatial systems, digital transformation, and information technology governance to support data-driven decision-making. Alongside his academic activities, he contributes as a reviewer and editor for several Indonesian scientific journals and has authored fiction and non-fiction books published by Indonesian publishers.
